There's a darkness in Scar, and sometimes, when she was alone, the rest of the lionesses could see it growing in Zira, too.
This was a request over on TLKFAA, of Scar and Zira as adolescents. (Yes, they are supposed to be adolescents, I swear. ;3; )
I've wanted to do a picture like this ever since I re-watched TLK2, and the request definitely gave me the spark to do it. I've always seen Taka as being a rather bad influence on Zira, as kind of a gnawing little demon on her shoulder. They both weren't like that in the beginning, though, but something snapped in both of them that forced their hand in life. Zira always was easily manipulated by somebody she admired, too, so that helped Taka's influence quite a bit. ;3; I love trying out new theories with these guys, and this one is by far my favorite. I'll explain the rest in some pictures later on. >:3
